General Description |
ATOM1.0 family is a group of 4-bit CMOS microcontroller, which consists of CPU, on-chip ROM and RAM. Its CPU core is newly designed with a subset of MCS-51 architecture for the convenience of application by users accustomed to 8051.
Although ATOM1.0 is a 4-bit MCU, it accesses program memory continuously like 8051. This is one of the outstanding features of ATOM1.0 because most of other 4-bit MCUs accesses program memory divided into pages. The drawback of paging is the requirement of careful attention to the crossing of page boundary during software development and the dead space near the page boundary.
CORERIVER offers not only the chips but also its user-friendly development tools such like 1) MDS (MCU Development System), 2) S/W generation and debugging tools including assembler, 3) Application system, and 4) ROM writer.
